Empty teacups wait to be chosen and filled with delicious hot tea
To celebrate friendship and brighten the often dreary days of February, friends were invited to a February Dessert Tea. Tempting fragrant Blood Orange loose tea was served along with several mouth watering teatime treats.
Desserts included decadent Mini Black Forest Brownies with Mascarpone Frosting, fabulous Chocolate Dipped Tarts filled with Amaretto Mousse garnished with shaved chocolate and delightful Sweet Potato Banana Bread with Praline Icing.
Tantalizing mini tea themed chocolates were offered for a sweet finish.
After enjoying all these wonderful treats a short program was planned. Everyone was to bring a toy from their childhood and share its' story. It was such great fun seeing all the toys and hearing about them. Many toys were showcased. Among them were

a favorite set of Jacks from Disneyland
an adorable sewing machine made in Berlin, Germany, US zone

Everyone so enjoyed talking about their toys. It was a great way to get to know each other better.
We all decided sometime in the future we would do a Tea Time Toy Story II.
